Paige’s Easy Scones
Every weekday for the last 4 years I have been heading next door to Como Street Cafe for coffee and a treat. I’ve pretty much tried everything of their menu, including their raw and gluten free foods.
This is Paige and like me, she love’s baking!
I’m always amazed that her scones are flawless. Light fluffy, full of flavour and changing daily! Here is her recipe for you to try.
- 4 cups of self raising flour
- Your choice of savoury ingredients:
- 300 mls of cream
- 300 mls of soda water
Add all dry ingredients to a bowl and mix through.
Add all the liquids together (including pesto or sweet chilli) and once combined, add to dry ingredients and mix through.
Spoon ingredients onto a greased tray.
Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for around 15 minutes or until golden.
Cut open, add a little butter and enjoy!
